All massages are very individualized treatment and performed on a very high energy level so depending on our own personal wants and needs, it can be very relaxing, soothing or energetic and strong.
Swedish oil massage is a relaxation massage involving long, flowing strokes up and down the body. It’s designed to ease tense muscles and calm your mind.
When muscles and tendons become damaged or impaired, knotted and tense or immobile, Remedial Massage provides a healing treatment that can be gentle or strong, deep or shallow. Remedial massage holistically treats the whole body and traces the discomfort as far as possible back to the original cause, healing both the cause of the disorder as well as the symptoms.
Shiatsu Massage is a traditional healing art developed in Japan a century ago based on traditional 3000-year-old Chinese medicine. It combines massage, stretching, gentle physical manipulation and pressure along channels called meridians.
Sports massage is designed to prevent and relieve injuries and conditions that are associated with exercise. It can often be quite strenuous and is meant to relieve and reduce the stress and tension that can build up within the body’s soft tissues while exercising. It can be carried out before, during, or after playing sport or exercising and uses techniques that are designed to increase endurance and performance, to minimize the chances of injury and, if there is an injury, to reduce the recovery time.
Deep tissue massage
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles. It is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

Pop in and say hi and check out our new decor. We are growing and giving the studio a make over. The antique barbers chair is making a comeback and we will be creating a new specialized men’s barber section at the front of the studio.
A healthy addition is our new personal tea menu. Everyone knows how we love tea! Jax and Dynae have been tasting and have selected a beautiful range of organic teas for you to choose from.
My current favourite is the caffeine free yogi chai! Delish!
Jax has a new range of beautiful skin care that was developed in a hospital burns unit in Paris. Gernetic was designed to boost the skin’s immunity and ability to regenerate through cellular nutrition. This research forms the basis of all Gernetic products. Gernetic contains amino acids, peptides, proteins, vitamins and trace elements, which have been scientifically formulated to meet the specific nutritional requirements of the cells, leaving the skin healthy and radiant.
Book in for a facial with Jax to experience this beautiful range of products. For the next few weeks 15% off at any time till October 15th. Mention this when making a booking.

Hair Trend alert! Micro foiling is a great option for summer hair, this new take on balayage gives that natural sun-kissed look, creating a softer band line of growth, so you can go further between visits to the salon and spend more time at the beach!
Spring is also a time for new beginnings, so why not a change of colour?? Check out some of our recent press:
No matter your skin tone, there’s a brunette hue out there for you. Aleks Abadia, Co-Founder and Hair Director at Esstudio Galleria explains, “Fair skin will suit slightly warmer tones, while people with a darker complexion will suit ashier tones.” Similarly, your hair type should influence your colour. “Depending on the desired effect, a block colour will be a solid rich tone great for fine hair… and on most people it can bring out your best features: eyes, skin colour. If you have thick hair, a highlighted shade will create dimension and texture,” says Aleks.

“It’s time for hairdressers to rule out the normal request for boring balayage and get a little creative and suggest easy to maintain colours, but allow us to get the mind ticking and get dirty with those colours,” agrees Aleks Abadia of Esstudio Galleria.
Sunday life road tested our anti aging hand treatment.
The lowdown…. The change of season always leave my hands feeling dry so its the perfect time for an intensive Gernetic Handycure hand and nail “facial” with manicurist Jax from Esstudio. The highlight of this treatment is an active mask containing wheat bran, kolin, lime, lavender and B vitamins. Check out more about this treatment on our menu http://esstudio.com.au/menu/nails/
Cheers for now!!!
